Coronavirus trial: People across England start donating plasma

Took these pictures last week in Birmingham to help publicise the work NHS Blood and Transplant are doing with people who have recovered from coronavirus and are donating blood plasma. The trial will investigate whether plasma transfusions could improve a COVID-19 patient’s speed of recovery and chances of survival.

Pictures have been used across all social media and on the NHS Blood and Transplant website.
