As the last remaining section of the old Central Library still stands, so the new development of ‘Paradise’ begins.

This week marked the beginning of the transformation of this area into a mixed use development of commercial, retail and leisure space. Like the Bullring and St Martins, this exciting transformation will combine a mix of historic and modern architecture.

Working closely with the marketing department of each institution, the images are lit and framed so they fit within the style of the prospectus or website.

Above are a selection of images taken for the University of Birmingham.

“Men in Sheds is a Nottingham based project for men aged 60 years and over. It aims to bring older men together to put their practical skills to good use and encourage them to be more socially active. It provides a well equipped hobby workshop where men can work together on a range of practical activities.”

Marketing and PR photography for Morris Lubricants, Shrewsbury.

I’ve just completed shooting several days of marketing and PR pictures for Morris Lubricants, a British independent family owned company that has been manufacturing lubricants in Shrewsbury, since 1869.
They wanted to update their picture library with images that could be used online as well as brochures and print media.
I shot images around the factory, staff portraits and product images. 485 images have been supplied and have already been extensively used.
